Resource Grants Help Corvallis Educators Navigate Change

A new classroom. A new grade level. A whole new set of students to get to know. This fall, a number of Corvallis educators are stepping into roles they didn't expect to be in — and we wanted to help make that leap a little easier. That's why we've partnered with the Corvallis Public Schools Foundation (CPSF) to launch Staff Resource Grants, a new program designed to support educators moving into new assignments for the 2026–2027 school year. 

Supporting Educators Through Transition

School closures and staff reassignments mean some educators are walking into unfamiliar classrooms, new grade levels, or entirely new programs this fall. That kind of transition often comes with real, out-of-pocket costs — supplies, materials, and everything else it takes to build a welcoming space for students. Staff Resource Grants offer eligible staff up to $500 to help cover those expenses, with applications accepted on a rolling basis and awards distributed monthly throughout the school year.

A Shared Commitment to Educators

"Our educators are navigating significant changes while continuing to put students first," said Angela Hibbard, Executive Director of CPSF. "These grants are a practical way to help educators feel prepared and supported as they step into new assignments. We are incredibly thankful to Benton County Schools Credit Union for their partnership and shared commitment to supporting educators and investing in our schools."
