IRA Accounts
You can choose the savings option that works best for your goals, including an IRA Savings Account or IRA Certificate Investment.
BCSCU offers the following IRA account options:
Traditional IRA
A Traditional IRA may be a good option if you want to save for retirement and may qualify for tax advantages now. Contributions and withdrawals are subject to IRS rules, so we recommend speaking with a tax advisor to understand how a Traditional IRA may fit your situation.
Roth IRA
A Roth IRA may be a good option if you want to save for retirement with the potential for tax-free withdrawals later. Eligibility, contribution limits, and withdrawal rules apply, so please consult a tax advisor for guidance.
Coverdell Education Savings Account
A Coverdell Education Savings Account can help you save for qualified education expenses. This account may be used for certain school-related costs, subject to IRS rules and contribution limits.
IRA Investment Options
Choose the IRA option that fits your savings style:
IRA Savings Account - Flexible retirement or education savings.
IRA Certificate Investment - Members who want to lock in funds for a set term.
