BCSCU Educational Grants provide financial assistance to local educators for classroom supplies, programs, and other student-focused needs.
Educators in schools within Benton County and public schools within Linn County may apply for grant funds to support educational opportunities for students.

Educational Grant Program

Benton County Schools Credit Union is proud to support the educational community through our Educational Grant Program.

Developed by the BCSCU Board of Directors, this grant program provides financial assistance to eligible schools and educators for supplies, programs, and other necessary items that help enhance educational opportunities for students.

Whether you need classroom materials, support for a student program, or resources that help create a stronger learning experience, we invite eligible educators to apply.

Who Can Apply?

You may be eligible to apply if you are:

  • An educator in a school within Benton County

  • An educator in a public school within Linn County

Grant funds are intended to support schools within the credit union’s field of membership.

What Can Grant Funds Be Used For?

Educational Grant funds may be used for student-focused needs such as:

  • Classroom supplies

  • Educational programs

  • Learning materials

  • Student enrichment activities

  • Other necessary items that enhance educational opportunities

Requests should clearly explain how the funds will support students and improve the learning experience.

Grant Amounts

Educators may request grant funds in $50 increments, up to a maximum request of $200.

Grant funds are limited, and not all applications may be funded.

How to Apply

To apply, please complete the Educational Grant Application and provide the required supporting information.

A complete application should include:

  • Amount requested

  • Purpose of the request

  • School name

  • Grade level or student age group

  • School address

  • Teacher or applicant name

  • Contact information

  • A letter explaining the reason for the request

  • Applicant signature

  • School administrator signature

Incomplete applications will not be considered. Applications must include a letter from the applicant and signatures from both the applicant and the school administrator.
